    Sehr geehrte Fraktionsmitglieder,

    der Wunsch nach Beendigung der andauernden Auseinandersetzung zwischen BM /Stadtverwaltung und einer Mehrheit der SVV findet nun in Form eines Bürgerentscheides zwecks Abwahl des BMs – gestern als Beschlussvorlage mehrheitlich in der SVV angenommen – seinen Ausdruck. Er ist offenbar verbreitet – also nicht allein bei den einreichenden Fraktionen und Abgeordneten – so übermächtig geworden, dass eine Abwahl gewissermaßen als Erlösung betrachtet wird, das ohne Blick über den Abwahlvorgang hinaus. Letzteres greift aus meiner Sicht zu kurz, stellt doch der mögliche Abwahlvorgang lediglich einen Teil eines weitergehenden Prozesses (Neuwahl) dar. Käme es dazu, müsste sie zügig erfolgen, das heißt, es bliebe nicht viel Zeit.

    Für mich gehört in diesem Zusammenhang, der zudem wegen realer Bedingungen in unserer Kommune ein besonderer ist in einer besonderen Situation, allerdings mehr dazu. Doch es ist bisher nicht die Frage beantwortet, wie es im Falle der Abwahl von S. Ennullat als BM weitergehen sollte, mit welchen Kandidaten, mit welcher Kandidatin? Welche Überlegungen gibt es dazu? Welche Kriterien sind dabei wichtig? Hier halten sich jene Abgeordneten, die den Bürgerentscheid zwecks Abwahl befürwortet haben, öffentlich gänzlich zurück, trotz klarer Nachfragen, wie sie vereinzelt gestellt werden. Warum?

    Ich bin nicht bereit, das so zu akzeptieren und in einen Bürgerentscheid zu gehen, der für mich als Mitentscheider/in eine mögliche Neuwahl personell völlig im Dunkeln lässt. Das in derartigen Fällen gern benutzte Motto “Schlimmer kann’s nicht werden” reicht mir nicht angesichts der vielfältigen Begehrlichkeiten, Probleme, Aufgaben, die künftig vor und in unserer Kommune stehen, verbunden mit Gefährdungen verschiedenen Art. Da sollten wir als Einwohner/innen schon genauer hinsehen, wie das auch personell getragen werden könnte, müsste. Das erfordert zwar in einer Phase, in der der Ausgang des Bürgerentscheides noch nicht bekannt ist, einen höheren inhaltlichen Aufwand, es macht aber für alle Bürger öffentlich deutlich, wohin die “Reise” nach einer möglichen oder wahrscheinlichen Abwahl des Bürgermeisters Ennullat personell zielt. Ich für meinen Teil sehe mich veranlasst, darauf zu bestehen. Und ich hoffe, es werden mehr und mehr, die das ebenfalls tun – auch in der SPD.
