Endlich da: Corona-Rettungsschirm – KW solidarisch

Seit Anfang November gelten deutschlandweit zusätzliche Corona-Regeln. Dieser zweite Lockdown stellt auch die Dahmelandregion vor große Herausforderungen. Die jüngst beschlossenen Maßnahmen treffen die Geschäfte und Institutionen aus Königs Wusterhausen ein zweites Mal hart. Für viele von ihnen werden die Wintermonate nur schwer zu überstehen sein. Eine reale Existenznot ist bei vielen Gewerbetreibenden bereits seit geraumer Zeit spürbar. In diesen Zeiten ist Solidarität wichtiger denn je.

Demokratisches Bündnis erarbeitete Rettungsschirm vor über 6 Monaten

Damit Solidarität auch praktisch sichtbar wird, hatte die Mehrheit der Stadtverordnetenversammlung bereits zu Beginn des ersten Lockdowns einen Rettungsschirm sowie die dazugehörige Förderrichtlinie erarbeitet, um den ortsansässigen Gewerbetreibenden in dieser herausfordernden Zeit so schnell wie möglich unter die Arme zu greifen. Der Rettungsschirm umfasst Mittel in Höhe von 1 Millionen Euro. Beschlossen wurde dieser bereits Anfang Mai, also vor über einem halben Jahr. „Wir freuen uns sehr, dass der Rettungsschirm jetzt endlich verfügbar ist und hoffen, dass die Hilfe für viele nicht zu spät kommt“, so Georg Hanke, Finanzexperte der SPD-Fraktion.

Corona Rettungsschirm von Rathausspitze monatelang verschleppt

Wiederholt hatte Bürgermeister Ennullat den Rettungsschirm-Beschluss beanstandet und somit versucht, die avisierten Hilfen zu Unrecht zu verhindern. Eigene Hilfsangebote des Bürgermeisters an seine KWer Gewerbetreibenden, wie ursprünglich angekündigt, wurden bis heute nicht vorgelegt. Damit konnte bis heute nicht ein Cent an Unterstützung bereitgestellt werden.

Erst die Streitentscheidung der Kommunalaufsicht des Landkreises brachte nun Rechtssicherheit und forderte die Rathausspitze auf, den Beschluss der SVV unverzüglich gemäß der brandenburgischen Kommunalverfassung umzusetzen. Ob die Verwaltungsspitze die Auszahlungen tatsächlich in gewünschter Form auszahlt, bleibt nun zu hoffen. Zweifel bleiben dennoch angesichts einer jüngsten Pressemitteilung aus dem Rathaus mit Aussagen wie: „Zusammenfassend bleibt festzustellen, dass wir, dem Beschluss der Stadtverordnetenversammlung folgend, Haushaltsmittel bereitgestellt haben, aber für eine Auszahlung weder die rechtlichen noch die personellen Voraussetzungen vorliegen.”

Fraktionsvorsitzender Ludwig Scheetz bleibt verhalten optimistisch, wünscht sich aber, dass viele ortsansässige Gewerbetreibende sich nun aktiv um die Unterstützung bemühen „Besser spät als nie. Wir hoffen, dass der Rettungsschirm zumindest anteilig helfen wird, diese Mammutaufgabe gemeinsam zu schultern.“
